The Bottom Bar

How to utilize the bottom bar


The last item in the CK Editor we will cover is the bottom bar. Though most of the utility in the text editor is in the top toolbar, the bottom bar does have some uses.

Let's start on the left side of the bottom bar. If you create a new page and look in the lower left hand of the body text editor, you will probably see a word and a letter, like in the example highlighted below:

Select the vocabulary list and type the name of the term.

Login - Changing who can edit your website

How to change who can log in to your websites

Luggage uses the luggage_isushib feature to provide access control. This feature uses authentication from Shibboleth (Okta) to provide a list of users who are allowed to log into the site.

To change who is allowed to log in, use the "Change who may access this site" menu item:

File Uploads

How to add files to a page on your website


Need to add a document to a page? The file types that you can add to your created content are: pdf, xls, xlsx, doc, docx, rtf, ppt, or pptx.

First, find the file upload section below the body text editor. It should look like this:

Hero Blocks

Hero blocks are an easy and attractive way to feature an image with the option to add a short caption. In this tutorial, you will learn how to edit Hero blocks. 

The Paste Button

How to paste information on your pages


The paste buttons on the top bar are meant to allow you to paste text into the WYSIWYG editor, however, new browser security updates suggest using keyboard shortcuts instead of the editor buttons.
