Luggage and BrowserStack

The Luggage project has received in-kind sponsorship from BrowserStack. This allows us to test against all kinds of browsers on all kinds of devices to make sure that websites built with Luggage appear correctly everywhere.

Colors

Iowa State University has specific primary and secondary colors defined as part of the ISU brand standards. Essentially, these are the colors which may be used throughout the Suitcase theme.

Typography

Iowa State University has digital font recommendations. One of these recommendations is to use the font called Nimbus Sans. This font is available through Adobe Typekit. ISU has a license to use the font for digital development. Nimbus Sans is the base font for the Suitcase theme. The font family is indicated in CSS as follows: 'Nimbus Sans','Helvetica Neue',Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;

Workshop presentation and discussion led by Ann Greazel, Sarah Carney and Angela McMahon. The presentation included a live Zoom session with Dr. Zayira Jordan. The audience for this event was mainly ISU website content editors and web developers on campus. 

The topic was covered how the BIT web development team raised awareness for accessibility requirements, implemented the requirements, and made part of development. It also includes how Jira is being used to document testing and WCAG 2.0 web accessibility standards.
