In this tutorial, you will learn how to create a resource. The resource content type is used for links that are off site. A good example would be an on-campus program or organization that is affiliated with your department. This negates the need for landing pages and allows for better tagging and categorization.
Using the menu bar at the top of the page, hover over the "Content" tab and select "Resource" from the "Add Content" menu.
Two important CK Editor features are the link and unlink buttons. Though the CK Editor does allow you to link to a site by simply pasting a URL into the text box, the link button is useful for embedding links. Here is where the link and unlink buttons are located on the CK Editor toolbar:
Need to add a document to a page? The file types that you can add to your created content are: pdf, xls, xlsx, doc, docx, rtf, ppt, or pptx.
First, find the file upload section below the body text editor. It should look like this:
