Hero Expanded blocks are a great way to display a small body of text with a pleasing background. If you wish to feature an image with minimal text, consider using a Hero block instead.
In this tutorial, you will learn how to edit Hero Expanded blocks.
How to Edit
- Find the Hero Expanded Block you wish to edit
- Hover over the upper right hand corner and a gear icon will appear
- Click “Edit Block”
- Edit the field(s) you wish to change. You can edit the Label, Title, Image, Caption Content, Caption Color, and Caption Position. If you have questions about the Label or Title fields, please refer to our Content Cards guide. Similar to the Hero blocks, it is recommended that you use images with a width of at least 1500px. Hero Expanded blocks' images will be resized automatically to make sure there is room for your whole caption. If you need guidance on how to add an image, please refer to our Images and Photos page.
Below, you will find examples of the different styling options available through the Caption Color and Caption Position.
- Click “Save.”
Caption Color and Position
The Caption Color and Position options allow you to change the way that your caption appears on top of your image.
Here is a preview of the available options.
