Windows 10
Click the Start menu, then choose Settings (or type About into the search bar):
When the Settings window opens, choose About and your current version of Windows will be displayed on the right.
Windows 11
Click the Start menu, then choose Settings (or type About into the search bar):
When the Settings window opens, select System and scroll down until you can click About.
In the About section scroll down until you see Windows specifications. The Windows edition and version will be displayed.
